Izuba means “sun” in Kirundi. This coffee comes from Runinya, within the Kabarore Commune of Kayanza province in Burundi, near Kibira National Park. The coffee is primarily grown on 3 hills in this region: Kigeri, Ryamukona, and Mugoyi. The coffee benefits from the area’s favorable soil, climate, and fresh-water from the river near the washing station for processing. All of these lead to high-quality coffee production.
Cupping Notes: High in sweetness & acidity. Above Average Body. Notes of Tangerine, Peach, and Lime
