Sparky’s Blend was developed by former co-owner Rob Miller, before his passing. This unique combination of dark coffees will kindle your desire to start each day with your best foot forward. Carrabassett Coffee Company has made it available to you in memory of Rob Miller (Sparky), as part of a charitable effort to support local organizations. A portion of proceeds will be donated to a different organization each quarter of the year. For every pound purchased, two dollars of the sale price will be donated, along with two dollars matched by Carrabassett Coffee Company.
This Quarter’s Recipient of The Sparky’s Blend donations will be the Kingfield Pops.
Almost twenty years ago, a group of Kingfield residents created the Kingfield Pops in an effort to bring the arts, specifically music, to the children and other residents of Kingfield, and the nearby areas. Since that time, the youth of Franklin County have benefited from the Kingfield Pops through introduction to different types of music and support in learning to play. Visiting musicians have provided master classes for aspiring young musicians, performed for whole groups of early musicians and introduced new music to the students. A used instrument drive has been ongoing, new instruments are purchased and deserving students are financially supported through scholarships, both for music lessons and as college arts majors. Carrabassett Coffee Company is proud to support the expansion of the arts in our community.
