Medium Roast – Washed Process
The Timuza Coffee co-op represents 200 farmers from the local Kamano tribal group, who have received training on coffee growing, financial management, and gender equality. The coffee is harvested, then manually pulped and fermented in traditional bilum bags before being washed and sun-dried. In 2016, Timuza was awarded first place at the national cupping competition.
Cupping Notes: Surprisingly sweet with complex flavors, you may taste notes of molasses and dark chocolate.
