Sparky’s Blend: A unique combination of dark coffees, inspiring you to start each day with your best foot forward.
Rob Miller, known to family and friends as ‘Sparky,’ was co-owner of Carrabassett Coffee Company for six years, until his passing in May of 2019. Sparky developed this combination of two Carrabassett Coffee Company favorites, and we have now made it available to you! A Maine local, Sparky preferred to spend his time outdoors, skiing and fly-fishing. Because of Sparky’s great enjoyment of nature’s offerings, a portion of proceeds from sales of Sparky’s Blend will be donated to charities which focus on helping children get out into the fresh-air.
For each pound of Sparky’s Blend, two dollars of the sale price will be donated, and matched by Carrabassett Coffee Company, to a local charity, which will change quarterly.
This quarter’s recipient of The Sparky’s Blend donations will be King’s Kids.
King’s Kids was developed by The Sugarloaf Ski Club with the help of King and Jean Cummings to support the belief that “all kids in Franklin and Somerset Counties deserve an opportunity to participate in skiing and riding winter programs.” Their contributions have made a huge impact on the lives of the local children who wish to ski and snowboard. We at Carrabassett Coffee Company are proud to support this fine initiative to foster interest in outdoor winter recreation among youth in our area.
