Ordering to arrive by Christmas 2019

December 14, 2018

As we get more into the holiday season, we’ve already noticed some instances of UPS and USPS taking longer than typical to get from us to you.

We try to get your order out as quickly as we possibly can, but once it’s been picked up by UPS or USPS, we’re at their mercy. USPS does not guarantee their delivery times, though they’re mostly accurate (except when they’re not). Both UPS and USPS also handle greatly increased volume of packages this time of year (ie. they make more mistakes this time of year – especially with the use of substitute and seasonal drivers.)

We recommend the following:

Order early to allow for delays like bad weather or carrier misrouting. Make sure the address you give us is good for both UPS and USPS priority mail (or tell us if one or other should not be used.)

The following is our best guess, as to how late orders can be placed & still make it to a given destination for delivery before Christmas. UPS doesn’t generally deliver on Saturday, but USPS Priority Mail does deliver on Saturday. (Final day for UPS ground delivery is Monday 12/24 & final day for USPS Priority mail delivery is Monday 12/24.)

Am I too late?
